Guilsfield 3 RuthiN 0
GUILSFIELD made light work of Ruthin Town to seal a second round clash with Llandudno this weekend.
The hosts led inside the opening five minutes with Jake Cook breaking the deadlock.
Ruthin struggled to make an impression throughout a one sided first-half with the Guils doubling their lead after half an hour with Stuart Rogers toasting a rare goal.
Guilsfield continued to dominate with new signings Adam Davies and Jolyon Harries impressing.
Victory was assured with 20 minutes left on the clock when a scuffed clearance from goalkeeper Ryan Goldston fell for Jack Richards to loft home from inside his own half.
Guilsfield saw out the remainder of the game with ease as a sub par Ruthin continued to struggle.
GUILSFIELD: Jones, Bromley, Richards, Rogers, James, Litchfield, Cook, Harries, Davies, Blenkinsop, Jenkins. Subs: Cathrall, Barton, Clifton, Garthwaite.
