Steve Leslie has departed Newtown for JD Welsh Premier rivals Bala Town.
The 31 year old Scottish born midfielder made over a century of appearances for Shrewsbury Town.
Spells in the English non league with Hereford, Wrexham and AFC Telford followed before a move to coach football in Australia.
On his return to the UK the midfielder has appeared for Worcester City, Solihull Moors, Sutton Coldfield and Corby Town before joining Newtown last season.
