DERBY day belonged to Bishops Castle in a four wicket home victory over Church Stretton in Henshalls Shropshire League Four.
Tom Moulder (1-14) and Simon Palmer (1-15) struck early before Chris Irving (1-23) claimed James Evans, caught by Satch Norton for 22.
Caitlin Perry (3-43) included Edward Groom (20) in her haul before opener Rob Whittall was run out by Josh Mills for 51 to leave Church Stretton to defend 147-8.
Groom (2-22) struck early in reply before Moulder (36) and Richard Fifield combined to push Castle toward their target.
Despite the departure of Moulder sparking a middle order wobble as Palmer (6) and Irving (0) fell cheaply an unbroken seventh wicket partnership between Fifield (45no) and Simon Green (14no) helped Castle to 148-6 in the 31st over.
