HUGH Jones (10) toasted glory in the St Giles senior July Medal with a nett 66.
Andrew Stanley (24) led the challenge with a nett 67, just ahead of Graham Evans (13) with 68.
Gerard Wilkinson (20) claimed fourth with 70 on the countback from Bob Millward (21) while Tegwyn Lloyd (24) also claimed Golfer of the Year points in sixth with 72.
Meanwhile popular veteran Penry Thomas celebrated a two net 0 on the par three fourth hole.
