FREYA Evans celebrated becoming Welsh under 14s mountain bike cross country champion last week,
Evans was among seven Ysgol Calon Cymru pupils in action at Pembrey Country Park in Carmarthenshire.
Also on the podium was Sam Ryland who ended second in the under 18s class with Cian Evans also claiming second place in the under 12s.
Alfie Davies completed the Builth Wells contingent with a fourth place finish in the under 14s.
Meanwhile Llandrindod Wells’ Spencer Davies ended fifth in the under 16s category with Carwyn Hardiman sixth in the under 13s and Gaian Hardiman eighth in the under 12s competition.
