GUILSFIELD’S title bid suffered a dent with a 24 run defeat at Bomere Heath IIs.
Duncan Todd (3-23) included opener Charles Wigley (35) in his haul while Gary Griffiths (1-47) celebrating the wicket of top scorer Paul Bolland (46).
Andy Pugh (3-37) ensured Trysull restricted to 162-8 to defend.
Garry Lewis (32) and Todd (32) led Guilsfield’s reply before both fell to Kenny James (3-19).
Rupert Shingler (21) and Dave Lewis led the middle order before falling to Andrew Oliver (2-22) with Emily Day (3-35) polishing off tail end resistance to complete Guilsfield’s demise for 138.
