ALBERBURY IIIs were made to sweat to secure a two wicket win at home to bottom of the table Bridgnorth IVs in division one of the Henshalls Shropshire Sunday League.
Alex Hughes (3-30) included opener Norman Roberts (19) in his haul with Owain Roberts (1-24) dismissing fellow opener Henry Roberts (15).
Lewis Todd (5-15) produced career best figures with Jake Millichamp (14) among his victims to complete Bridgnorth’s dismissal for a meagre 106 in the 26th over.
Andrew Dale (19) departed to Alex Thomas (2-19) in reply before Millichamp took centre stage.
Millichamp (5-14) included Oliver Pope (16) in his haul before Hughes (26no) steadied the ship and joined by Owain Roberts (15no) in an unbroken ninth wicket stand to steer Alberbury to 108-8 and glory.
