Alex Bromley gave Monty a dream start in reply with the early wickets of Lewis Rollason (1) and Simon Aucott (0).

Ed and Rob Bennett combined to tear the heart out of the Worfield reply as Piers Rouwenhurst (17), Charlie Fox-Davies (27) and Nick Hudson each fell to catches from Rob off brother Ed.

Bromley completed his 3-30 with Will Fox-Davies caught by Rob Bennett for four before Ed Bennett sealed his 4-27 with Weir snared LBW for a duck.

Captain Sam Williams got in on the act with McGarry trapped LBW for 11 before Ruff-Cock completed his man of the match display with the tail end wickets of Simpson (12) and Rees (0) and Worfield’s demise for 93 as Montgomery toasted a 77 run victory.
