LLANFAIR Caereinion High School is celebrating after its under 13s rugby side were crowned North Wales champions.
The side stormed to a convincing 43-19 victory over Pwllheli in Bala to return with the coveted silverware and underline the high standard of sport at thr school.
Meanwhile many of the squad helped COBRA U13s to add the Bethesda Tournament Cup to their list of honours.
Despite a 17-0 defeat to Llangefni and 7-5 defeat to Pwllheli a place n the play offs was secured with a 5-0 win over Bethesda and 15-5 triumph over Bangor before avenging their earlier defeat with 10-7 win over Llangefni.
COBRA overcame injuries to complete a 15-0 win over Pwllheli in the final to be crowned champions and earn the plaudits of their coaches.
