MONTGOMERY endured an afternoon to forget in an eight wicket defeat at Lilleshall.
Monty were always up against it after being restricted to 105 to defend with Jamie Stock (3-47), Ed Keenan (3-17), Rob Bagshaw (2-24) and Rich Harris (2-2) dominating.
Rob Bennett (25) top scored with Sam Williams (15), Tom Corfield (13), Ieuan Griffiths (11) and Aaron Ruff-Cock (11) posting double figures for the Welsh side.
Richard Barge (52) carried his bat in reply and joined by Elliot Evlyn-Bufton (20no) in an unbroken third wicket stand to steer Lilleshall to 106-2 in the 30th over.
