ROB Davies revelled with a superb display inspiring Llanidloes to a four wicket win at Quatt IIIs in division seven of the Henshalls Shropshire League.
Daves played a key role with 3-41 and support from Eogan Jones (2-20) and Ioan Swallow (2-22), Russell Swallow (1-6), Andrew Jones (1-31) and Clive Jones (1-28) restricting Quatt to 163 with Mark Ward (46no) top scoring.
Andrew Jones (26) was joined by Lewis Swallow (12) in laying foundations in reply before Davies took centre stage with nine four’s and three sixes in a top scoring knock of 70.
Eogan Jones (13) and Gerrard Owen (17) pushed Llanidloes to within sight of glory before Declan Jones (1no) and Clive Jones (1no) pushed Llanidloes to 164-6 and glory in the 37th over as the Mid Wales side went top of the table.
