ABERYSTWYTH Town completed their season with a resounding 7-1 victory over Llanidloes Town to lift the Central Wales U19s Cup in Machynlleth on Friday night.

Liam Doherty and Iwan Lloyd both completed doubles while further strikes from Josh Crowl, Tom Evans and Ethan Rodgers clinched the cup for the Seasiders while Llanidloes reduced the arrears with a consolation goal from Dylan Moses.

Aberystwyth Town manager Bari Morgan hailed his side following a successful season which saw them complete a clean sweep of honours for a second successive season.

“To win the double treble is a great way to end the season,” said Morgan. “The boys were professional in their performance like they have been all season. T

“They’ve been an absolute pressure to coach all season and deserve every success.”

Llanidloes Town were consoled by being presented with the Welsh Beef and Lamb Mid Wales Under 19s League title following their own successful campaign.
