TREWERN United marched into the final of the Mid Wales Trophies Consolation Cup with a 4-0 win at Abermule Reserves.

Goals from Barry Haralambous, Byron Edwards, Zaac Edwards and Matt Windsor won the day for the Tigers.

Kerry Reserves booked their place in the semi-finals with a surprise 4-3 win at Honda Division side Llangedwyn with Matt Mumford netting twice and goals from Ryan Gardner and Kez Wheeldon completing the tally.

Llanymynech also kept alive their hopes of silverware with a 6-2 win at Llanfechain.

Dan Astley struck twice with goals from Callum Whyte, Jamie Phillips, Adam Biggs and George Jones setting up a semi-final meeting with Kerry.

Meanwhile Dan Barton’s hat-trick inspired Guilsfield Reserves to a 4-2 win over Trefonen to seal a place in the final of the Llansantffraid Village Cup.

Luke Francis completed the Guils’ tally with Andy Garmston netting twice in reply for the Pitmen.

Forden United await in the final after a convincing 6-0 victory over Llanrhaeadr Reserves courtesy of goals from Christian Webster, Josh Gethin, Ross Harris, Ryan Jenkins and a Jake O’Donnell double.

Elsewhere Newtown Wanderers were held to a 3-3 draw at Llanfyllin Town Reserves in Mitsubishi Division Two.

Tommy Burlinson netted twice for the Black and Ambers with Robbie Hartshorn also on target with Gareth Jones scoring twice in reply and Liam Jones also netting.

Meanwhile Ryan Gardner’s strike proved enough for Kerry Reserves in a 1-0 win at Four Crosses Reserves on Tuesday.

Trefonen claimed the spoils with a 2-0 win at Abermule Reserves sealed with goals from Andy Garmston and Graham Dyke.

Elsewhere Llanymynech won 2-1 at Churchstoke Reserves with goals from Dan Astley and Adam Biggs cancelling a reply from Kevin Price.
