Four Crosses 3 Rhayader Town 0

KYLE Wilson struck twice as Four Crosses ended a promotion winning campaign with the ER Jenkins Cup.

Crosses had twice gone close through Jordan Gerrard who made the breakthrough by heading home Shin Miah’s corner.

Rhayader ended the half on top but Crosses firm until the break.

Crosses went close at the start of the second-half with Jamie Evans rattling the with a headed effort before the villagers doubled their lead with Wilson opening his account with a low free-kick.

Despite being reduced to 10 men with the dismissal of Harry Davies the Rhayader side were unable to make their numerical advantage count and were soon down to 10 men themselves.

It was all over when Wilson completed his brace with a stunning free-kick to ensure the trophy for the Montgomeryshire side.

The evening ended with Rhayader reduced to nine men before Crosses celebrated the end of a glorious campaign and promotion back to MMP-NL Mid Wales League One with the ER Jenkins Cup.
