SAM Jones starred with a hat-trick as Bishops Castle retained the Tanners Town Cup with a resounding victory at Waterloo Rovers on Wednesday night.
Following a brief delay after referee Terry Thomas was injured early on the final saw the Shropshire men take charge.
Martyn Ziemann broke the deadlock before Mark Griffiths and Jake Ellis goals ensured Castle an unassailable cushion.
Jones’ hat-trick doubled Castle’s advantage and ensured his side a commanding advantage before Ziemann completed his brace and the rout was completed by Ben Edwards as the silverware returned over the border.
