LLANFAIR United twice hit back from a goal down at Dolforgan Park to sink Kerry and be crowned MM-NL Mid Wales League One champions.

With Llanidloes Town romping to an emphatic 6-1 win at Tywyn Bryncrug it meant anything but three points at Kerry would see the league silverware denied United.

County Times:

Kerry more than played their part in a thrilling end of season encounter with goals from Max McLoughlin and Jack Hughes twice seeing them lead only for Josh Astley to lead the fightback with four goals while Nathan Edgington's strike completed United's fightback.

Meanwhile Carno signed off their home campaign with a 4-1 win at home to Aberaeron.

Andy Evans and Jac Petrie shared the plaudits with doubles for the Greens.

Bow Street and Builth Wells played out a 3-3 draw thriller at Cae Piod with goals from Garmon Nutting, Josh Crowl and Tom Williams cancelled out a Danny Ives double and Richard Powell strike for the Bulls.

The MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two programme was postponed with Borth United's clash with Hay St Marys and Rhayader Town's home game with Four Crosses falling victim to the weather.

Newtown Wanderers boosted their hopes of securing promotion with a 2-1 win at Trefonen who replied through Ben Pullen.

Goals from Shaun Jones, Josh Jones, Dion Davies and Siencyn Jones ensured a memorable night for the Magpies.

Penrhyncoch completed their great escape from Huws Gray Alliance relegation with a 3-2 win at home to Conwy Borough securing second tier status for another season while relegating Holywell Town whose 3-0 win over an already doomed Holyhead Hotspur was rendered moot.

County Times:

Cledan Davies had given the Roosters the lead on the hour only for Borough to hit back and lead through a Cory Williams double.

Penryhn were not to be denied and staged a dramatic late fightback with Jonny Evans levelling on 83 minutes before Josh Shaw entered the annals of Cae Baker folklore with a winner five minutes from time as Gari Lewis' men completed their great escape.
