BISHOPS Castle head into the summer determined to consolidate in the newly structured fourth division.
The Manor Ground club suffered a miserable 2018 which saw the club’s second string fold while its first team were relegated.
Simon Palmer has taken over the captaincy but with an experienced squad the role will be shared on match days
Castle will look to Jonathan Price and Tom Moulder to put the runs on the board with support from Richard Fifield and Andrew Lewis.
The experienced Richard Powell will once again lead the bowling attack with Jack Perry and George Rayment joined by Moulder and Palmer in bolstering their options.
A club spokesman said: “After a few difficult years the club is heading into the new season aiming to consolidate.”
