NATHAN Leonard hopes his Guilsfield side will mark the end of his tenure with victory over Holywell Town on Saturday.

The Guilsfield manager has confirmed plans to step away from the game for 12 months to focus on attaining his coaching badges.

However Leonard hopes his side can give him the perfect send off with a home win relegating Holywell Town while boosting Penrhyncoch’s survival hopes.

“I am looking forward to the game as we have hit some good form of late and hope to finish on a win,” said Leonard. “I won’t let the lads drop their standards as it’s a game we want to give the fans and committee a good performance to finish on. “

Leonard insisted the future was bright for the club.

“I’ve loved every minute of it and I’ll be doing everything for the club until pre-season to make sure everything is in place for the new management team,” said Leonard.

“The club is in safe hands and with the great committee will continue to be a top six side.”
