POWYS athletes represented the region with distinction at the UK Sportshall Finals in Manchester.
Maddie Griffiths and Gwen Kuipers of Welshpool both medalled in the under 13s with Griffiths claiming silver in the six lap event and Kuipers claimed bronze in the four lap race before the duo combined for silver in the relay.
Both the under 13s boys and girls squads ended 10th overall.
Welshpool’s Dottie Evans also claimed bronze in the under 15s girl speedbounce to help her squad to 11th.
Elin Wozencraft of Sport Powys said “Well done all the athletes who competed this year.”
