COBRA ran riot in Holyhead to boost their Game On North Wales Women’s League title bid with a 95-0 annihilation of the islanders.
The Meifod side never looked back after Fiona Moss’ quick feet yielded the opening try enroute to a hat-trick completed inside the opening 30 minutes.
Moss enjoyed her time in the sun and was joined by Adelaide Edwards in completing a first-half hat-trick.
Further tries from Ffion Williams and Libby Jones completed a dominant first-half display from the Mid Wales side.
Holyhead ran and tackled valiantly but proved no match for COBRA’s attacking play.
The trend continued into the second half with Gemma Robinson twice crossing for a deserved brace while Grace Hill and Gwen Jones were also rewarded for their endeavour with tries.
Two further tries from Libby Jones completed her hat-trick.
Ffion Williams underlined her class with 10 successful conversions to complete her 30 point haul as COBRA toasted a dominant victory.
The result ensured a triumphant return home for the Mid Wales side who will face a sterner test of their title ambitions at home to Llangefni on Sunday as the Game On North Wales Women’s League reaches its climax.
