TNS midfielder Chris Seargeant has signed for fellow JD Welsh Premier League side Bala Town, on loan until the end of the season.

Seargeant has made over 200 appearances for the Saints in total, and has won the Welsh Premier League on eight occasions, also collecting four JD Welsh Cup winners medals along the way.

He bagged a hat-trick in the 3-0 JD Welsh Cup win against Cwmbran Celtic in December, but the experienced former Everton academy man admitted he has found his opportunities limited with TNS this season due to injury.

"It’s been a frustrating season with a few niggles and the lads are flying, so I want to go and get some minutes before the season ends, ready for pre-season next time round," he told the club's official website.

TNS manager Scott Ruscoe added: "He’s going to a side that has some very good footballers and will only make them stronger."

Seargeant has been allocated the number 23 shirt for the Lakesiders.
