OSIAN Pryce will be among the favourites for glory at this weekend’s North Wales Rally, the second round of the Pirelli Welsh Rally Championship.
The Aberangell star is joined by Llanfyllin co-driver Dale Furniss in an Historic specification Ford Escort at this weekend’s Dolgellau based rally.
Also in action is Hywel Davies from Machynlleth and co-driver Siobhan Pugh in an Escort while Brecon’s David Price and Glyn Jones will be in action in their BMW.
Leading the RAVENOL Welsh Challenge co-drivers’ category following the opening round is Johnny Evans of Newtown ahead of Keaton Williams with Simon Jones in third place.
Also representing Powys hopes are Newtown’s Phil Jones and Ryan Griffiths in a Ford Escort, Alwyn Passant and Denny Harris in a Ford Escort Mk2, and Alun Horn and Ian Beaumond in a Subaru Impreza
Rally North Wales is the second of an eight round series that runs which will conclude in November.
It also forms part of the Fuchs Lubricants British Historic Rally Championship, Rally2 Championship, ANWCC Forest Rally Championship and David Stokes Historic Challenge and will take place in the Dyfi and Gartheiniog forest complexes after starting at Gwyndaf Evans Motors on Saturday morning.
