BUILTH Wells prevailed 39-26 winners in a nine try thriller at Taibach in division two west central of the Swalec League.
Builth welcomed full-back Gethin Lewis back to the fold following a spell in New Zealand while Mike Powell returned to centre and shining in a man of the match display.
Ashley Mills crossed for an early try for the Bulls before the Port Talbot hosts replied with a try of their own.
However Builth regained their advantage with tries from Ben Pugh and Rob Lloyd converted by Dean Davies before Lloyd was banished to the sin bin for Taibach to capitalise with a converted try of their own.
However Builth ended the first-half on top with Davies adding a penalty before Pugh added a second try on the stroke of half-time.
Rhys Lewis crossed for a try early in the second-half while Mills added his second try of the day, converted by Davies, to complete the Bulls’ scoring before Taibach rallied with a late try.
