Goals from Nathan Warren, Robin Mleczek and an own goal saw the Phoenix go eight points clear at the top.

Elsewhere Talybont hit back to prevail 5-2 winners at Bont to book a place in the semi-finals of the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League Cup.

Goals from Trefor Jenkins and Charlie Parr gave Bont the lead only for an Osian Thomas double and strikes from Clint Middleton, Harry Whalley and Darren Davies to complete the fightback.

Aberdyfi toasted a 2-0 derby win over Dolgellau Reserves in the Cambrian Tyres Division Two Trophy with Richard Winchurch and Tim Holt on target.
