PRESTEIGNE St Andrews are looking for a new first team manager after Shaun Harris resigned from his role.

Harris has been in charge of the MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two club since the summer of 2017.

“I have enjoyed my time at Llanandras Park but it would be fair to say it has not been without its frustrations,” said Harris.

“The club is not alone in finding it difficult to get players to be fully committed but I would like to thank those lads who have played under me during my time in charge along with the committee and groundstaff for all their hard work.”

“It has been a frustrating season for everyone but it is solely my decision to leave Presteigne St Andrews Football Club.”

Presteigne chairman Andrew Crowe confirmed Harris’ departure and start of a search for his successor.

“It has been a difficult season for everyone and I know Shaun has found it frustrating at times,” said Crowe. “However we had a couple of good results at the end of the season and we hope this would provide the foundation for brighter times next season.

“Shaun has worked very hard during his time here and the club wish him well for the future.”
