THREE rugby players from Llanidloes continue to make giant strides in their careers.
Ffion Snape, Megan Hamer and Rona Ferguson represented North Midlands Counties Under 18s girls alongside players from Telford, Worcester and Halesowen against representative sides from Leicestershire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire in a multi format tournament.
The Llanidloes contingent played key roles in helping North Midlands record eight wins from nine games.
The players come through the school and club system of Llanidloes Juniors mixed rugby before progrssing to Welshpool U15 and then the Mid Wales Rebels set-up before joining Oswestry U18s this season.
Meanwhile Nia Evans of Llanidloes is well on her way to emulating the trio having helped the Mid Wales Rebels beat Ruthin Ravens in the RGC Under 15s Cup this month.
