RICHARD Davies struck twice as Berriew gained ground on the MMP-NL Mid Wales League One leading pack with a 4-2 win at home to Llansantffraid on Friday night.
Davies was joined on the scoresheet by Charlie Humphreys while Bailee Austin marked his debut for the hosts with a goal against his former club.
The Saints remained in contention with replies from Nathan Prodger and Tom Ring.
