LLANRHAEADR bid to take another stride toward safety when Ruthin Town visit Llansantffraid on Saturday.

The villagers have climbed the table in recent weeks with player-manager Marc Griffiths keen for his side to maintain their revival.

“We have hit some form and the lads are confident,” said Griffiths. “Ruthin are a similar side to ourselves with local lads and a great togetherness so I expect a tough test.”

Sam Thomas and Glenn Evans return to contention but Iwan Matthews and Tom Evans are doubts.

Penrhyncoch host league leaders Airbus UK Broughton with time running out to avoid the drop while the Roosters’ injury crisis continues to undermine their efforts.

Luke Sherbon, Antonio Corbisiero and Jon Foligno are all fitness doubts but Owain James and Jonny Evans return from suspension.

Manager Gari Lewis insisted a point at home to Prestatyn Town last week ensured his side still had reason for optimism.

“I could not be prouder,” said Lewis. “We put our bodies on the line and with results going in our favour we are still in the mix.

“Airbus are champions elect and have quality throughout so we expect another tough test.”

"They are the best technical team in the league for me," added Lewis who pointed to the threat of Asa Hamilton, Lewis Buckley, Joe Chaplin, Ryan Edwards and Nathan Woolfe.

"We have nothing to loose and are in decent form ourselves and will have a plan to try cause them problems."

Meanwhile Guilsfield host struggling Denbigh Town with manager Nathan Leonard confident.

“They are fighting for points and have been inconsistent this season like ourselves,” said Leonard. “However we have a little unbeaten run going so hopefully we can get three points.

“I really think we can go on a really good run now until the end of the season.”
