Goals from Andrew Green and Tony Meredith earned Churchstoke Reserves the spoils in a 2-1 win at home to Four Crosses Reserves who replied through Jake Edwards.

Elsewhere goals from Sam Roberts and Ben Richards proved enough for Llanymynech to toast a 2-1 win at Kerry Reserves who stayed in contention through Bobby Richards.

Meanwhile Bishops Castle Town booked their place in the final of the Tanners Town Cup with a battling 2-0 win at home to Newtown Wanderers.

Goals from player-manager Dan Dawson and Sam Naden completed Castle’s tally and sealed a final date against the winners of the outstanding tie between Welshpool-based Waterloo Rovers Reserves and Newtown-based Maesyrhandir which has already been postponed twice since the draw.
