RADNOR Valley produced the shock of the fourth round with a thrilling 9-8 penalty shoot-out victory at home to Caersws.

Ryan Davies headed Caersws into an early lead before Rhydian Davies doubled the Bluebirds’ advantage but Valley were back in the tie on half-time with Callum Matthews scrambling home.

Valley were back on level terms early in the second-half with Elliot Morris’ right wing cross converted by Joey Price.

Both sides had chances before the game entered extra-time with Price continuing to menace the visiting defence.

However it was Caersws who regained the lead with Craig Harris left unmarked to convert and seemingly put Caersws in the hat for the next round.

Valley hit back with four minutes remaining with Liam Jones crossing for for Price to level.

A marathon penalty shoot out ended with Matt Croose converting the decisive penalty as Valley toasted a famous fightback.

Meanwhile Carno progressed courtesy of a 4-1 win at Kerry with Andy Evans and Harry Holt sharing the plaudits with doubles while the Lambs replied through Jordan Dean.

Bow Street also claimed a place in the next round with goals from Steff Richards, Tom Williams and Owen Roberts-Young completing a 3-0 win at Abermule.

Elsewhere a Will Cleaton strike proved just enough for Builth Wells to see off Hay St Marys with the Bulls progressing courtesy of a 1-0 win at the Lant while Berriew made light work of Tywyn Bryncrug with a Joe Haycock hat-trick and Richard Davies double cancelling an Aled Jones riposte in a 5-1 win at Talbot Field.
