CONNOR Bird struck the winner as Llanidloes Town extended their lead at the top of MMP-NL Mid Wales League One with a 3-3 victory at Welshpool Town on Friday night.
Dewi Allen netted twice for the Daffodils with Jack Harris and Will Thomas netting in reply for the hosts before Bird bagged the the winner.
Elsewhere Llanfair United extended their unbeaten league record to 10 games with a comfortable 5-0 win at bottom of the table Churchstoke.
Karl Seliaerts maintained his bright form with a double while Josh Astley, Tom Gregory and Ashley Davies completed the tally.
