Maesyrhandir have bolstered with a triple signing ahead of their biggest match of the season to date but have lost Joe Evans to Montgomeryshire League One rivals Forden United.

Evans served the Purples as player-coach and played a key role in steadying the ship following the early season exit of manager Gary Jones to Churchstoke.

Forden manager Jonny Roberts hailed the new arrival, saying: “Joe has bags of experience at a higher standard.

“Our aim is to play as high as we can possibly get to so these players will be vital for us.

“Joe fits in straight away, he’s got bundles of enthusiasm, is keen to learn and adds another layer of quality to a great squad.”

New Maesyrhandir manager Ben Pearse has bolstered his own squad with the return of Lee Roberts, Jocedi Dean and Drew Hughes ahead of the weekend semi-final.
