MID Wales rally fans can look forward to a host of national events on their doorstep after the calendar of the 2019 Pirelli MotorsportUK Welsh Forest Rally Championship was confirmed this week.

The Llandudno based Cambrian Rally will start the series on February 16 on a newly improved Rally4Wales route.

The series heads south on March 30 with the Dolgellau based Rally North Wales including some of the most iconic stages in the rallying world.

The Builth Wells based Rallynuts Rally Stages take place on April 13 and the series remains in Mid Wales for the 53rd running of Welshpool based Plains Rally on May 11.

The the Red Kite Stages in Neath held on June 23 before returning to Builth Wells for the Nicky Grist Stages on July 13.

The penultimate round sees the series head over Offa’s Dyke for the Woodpecker Stages in Ludlow with most of the action taking place in the Radnor Forest on August 31.

The championship rounds up on November 9 in the Wyedean Stage Rall.
