MID Wales interest in this season's Welsh Trophy came to an end as the region's three flag bearers each crashed out of the competition last weekend.
Berriew were left to rue wasteful finishing in a 3-2 defeat at Wrexham League side Plas Madoc with goals from Joe Haycock and Rhys Stephens cancelled out by replies from Jamie Williams and Nick Williams who also scored an 88th minute penalty to send the Rhiewsiders crashing out of the trophy.
Bow Street also crashed out at Wrexham League side Cefn Albion with goals from Jimmy Jones, Conner Kendrick and Zac Davies settling a 3-0 victory for the Cefn Mawr hosts.
Four Crosses bowed out with their heads held high following a 2-1 defeat at Welsh Alliance side Bodedern.
Ben Simms netted for Crosses but strikes from Aidan Clark and Shaun Jenkins ensured the North Wales side a place in the quarter-finals.
