CLUBS have been urged to apply for promotion to the MMP-NL Mid Wales League ahead of the December 31 deadline
So far only Trewern United and Forden United have officially applied for elevation from the J T Hughes Montgomeryshire League to MMP-NL Mid Wales League Two next season.
Currently no applications have been received from the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League and Watson Financial Mid Wales League South.
Secretary Phil Woosnam hoped other clubs would apply and had not been dissuaded by forthcoming pyramid restructures which will mean an end to the Mid Wales League in its current form in 2021.
Discussions on the future of the Mid Wales League post 2021 will continue in the New Year with ongoing dialogue with clubs.
All applications are to be submitted to P Woosnam,Mafeking, Triangle Cwmdauddwr, Rhayader, Powys, LD6 5AR along with a cheque for £50 which will be refunded upon the club joining the league.
