BERRIEW gave MMP-NL Mid Wales League One title rivals Llanidloes Town a bloody nose with a 5-2 win at Talbot Field.

Leaders Caersws also stuttered on the road with Aberaeron producing their best result of the season as goals from Gareth Severs, Ifan Burrell and James Hemming cancelled replied from Rhydian Davies and Mark Edmonson to complete a 3-2 home win and ensure a long way home for the visiting villagers.

Meanwhile Will Thomas maintained his goal laden form with a double as Welshpool Town maintained their own bid at home to Bow Street on Friday night with Ian Probert and Steve Jones completing a 4-0 win.
