Prestatyn Town 5 Llanrhaeadr 2
LLANRHAEADR were stung by a late surge as Prestatyn Town maintained their revival.
The Seasiders led early with Dan Roberts following up to net after Ben Maher’s shot was spilled by goalkeeper Jimmy Hayns on six minutes.
Llanrhaeadr threatened with Marc Griffiths denied by goalkeeper Ryan Roberts before the home No1 punched an Iain Edmunds corner into his own net on 25 minutes to restore parity.
Prestatyn regained the lead on half-time with Ian Griffiths netting but a strong opening to the second-half saw the visitors level for a second time with Matthew Evans’ cross cushioned by Khyam Wytton for Tom Evans to net.
Griffiths restored Prestatyn’s lead before the hour but Llanrhaeadr remained in contention with Matt Evans, Iwan Matthews and Edmunds going close before the Seasiders sealed glory as Griffiths completed his hat-trick and Maher added a flattering fifth in injury-time.
