TALGARTH Town extended their lead at the top of the Watson Financial Mid Wales League South with a 5-2 derby win at home to Brecon Northcote.
A Harry Sharman double and goals from Gavin Perry, Alex Simmonds and Jordan Harvey sealed the points with the Stags replying through Guy Williams and Cai Spencer while also seeing Lee Parkinson sent off.
Llanidloes Town Reserves climbed to third with a 3-1 win at Newcastle with the points secured courtesy of goals from Rhys Evans, Harri Clarke and Gregg Brown while Sam Bevan replied.
Meanwhile Hay St Marys hit back for a point in a 2-2 draw at home to Llandrindod Wells Reserves who led through Dan Baker and Jason Coles goals to cancel Chris Assirati's opener before Rhodri Jones saved Hay a point.
