PENRHYNCOCH host Ruthin Town on Saturday with manager Gari Lewis expecting a tough encounter.

The Roosters go into the game without the suspended Steffan Davies and Lukek Sherbon as Lewis bids to mastermind a win following two successive draws.

“Ruthin are a club I admire for their values, they have a top manager and will always be organised to perform,” said Lewis. “It’s a real 50-50 game and should be a cracker.”

“Steff and Luke are two massive players and it’s a blow to be without them but we have to get on with it.”

Meanwhile Guilsfield hit the road with Rhyl their hosts.

“We will go with a game plan and hope to come away with the points. We’ve picked up ourselves recently, with players starting to hit full fitness and form but Rhyl is always a tough place to go

“I believe we’ve got players to hurt them and while it will be a tough game it is also one I’m looking forward to.”

Elsewhere Llanrhaeadr return to action with the visit of Conwy Borough to Llansantffraid’s Treflan.

The villagers will be keen to kick start their campaign having crashed to a 9-0 thrashing at Bangor City earlier in the month though can expect a tough test against fellow Huws Gray Alliance new boys Conwy Borough who have started the season solidly.
