FORMER Newtown Football Club coach Sam Morris has taken up a role at South Wales League One side Cambrian Clydach.
Morris is a graduate of NPTC in Newtown and a well known sportsman as a regular with Newtown Cricket Club as well as coaching at Newtown Football Club.
Morris moved south to take up a coaching course at the University of South Wales in the summer and linked up with the Tonypandy club.
“The academy set-up and the quality of players is really high,” said Morris. “I am enjoying my experience and all credit does to Cambrian for the opportunity.
“Also they are going on a tour of Holland in April which I am looking forward to.”
