TREGARON Turfs made light work of Padarn United to march to a 5-0 win in the second round of the Dai Davies Cup.

Ifan Jones and Cerith Davies doubles and a Ryan Hurrell goal eased the Turfs through to the next round and maintain their impressive start to the campaign.

Elsewhere a Chris Morgan hat-trick inspired St Dogmaels to a 7-0 win over Felinfach with Rhys Jones, Aled Rees, Adam Williams and Louis Harding also scoring for the Dogs.

Crannog ran riot in a 15-0 drubbing of Maesglas with Eifion Jones bagging four goals while Gruff Thomas was joined by Bryn Morris, George Colven, Gruff Thomas and Gary Davies in completing doubles.

Huw Owen and an own goal completed the rout for the Llangrannog side.

Bow Street Reserves also marched on with a 4-1 win over Llanboidy with Shaun Jones and Neil Davies both netting twice.

Meanwhile Talybont earned a place in the second round of the Cambrian Tyres League Cup with a 2-1 win at Penrhyncoch Reserves.

Clint Middleton and Luke Davies goals ensured the Bridgemen progressed after cancelling Stephan Hughes’ strike for the Roosters.

Dominic Thomas and Darryn Jones goals earned Dolgellau Reserves a 2-1 win over Penrhyncoch Thirds with Ben Dimmack replying while Borth United Reserves hit back to beat Aberystwyth University Reserves 3-1.

Meanwhile Aberdyfi prevailed 6-3 winners at Llanilar Reserves in the only game in the second division courtesy of a four goal haul from Josh Taylot with Richard Winchurch and an own goal competing the tally.
