GUILSFIELD had to be content with a point as Holywell Town hit back to salvage a draw at Halkyn Road.
Josh Maldon and Sam Jones fired wide for the lowly hosts, still reeling from the previous week’s Welsh Cup exit at Caersws.
Guilsfield forged ahead on the stroke of half-time with Sam Litchield reacting first to slot home after goalkeeoer Antoni Sarnowski fumbled a cross.
The Guils doubled their lead early in the second-half after charging down a Sarnowski clearance to slot into an empty net.
Holywell hit back moments later with Steve Lewis converting a penalty after he was fouled in the area.
Lewis rocked the woodwork with a header as Holywell rallied and were soon level with substitute Shaun Tuck rounding goalkeeper Mike Jones to net.
Both sides had chances to win the game with Andy Ford firing over for the Guils before livewire Tuck fired wide for teh hosts at the death.
