OWEN Holdsworth’s hat-trick helped Knighton Town to their second win of the season with a 5-4 thriller against Llandrindod Wells Reserves.

Goals from Dan Farmer and Sam Hoyle completed the tally while the Spamen replied through a Darren Murphy double and strikes from Kieran Davies and Paul Bishop.

Meanwhile Builth Wells Reserves and Hay St Marys Reserves shared the spoils in a 10 goal thriller at Forest Road.

Ryan Powell’s hat-trick and goals from Dan Walker and Mike Evans were not enough for the Bulls as Jake Assirati, Fin Branson, Harry Ratcliffe, Rhodri Jones and an own goal ensured the Saints a point while Ratcliffe also spurned a last gasp penalty.

St Harmon and Presteigne Reserves also shared the spoils following a 3-3 draw at the Bryn.

Adam Martin netted twice with Tom Lewis-Jones also on target for the Swifts while a Jack Brindley double and Billy Hyett strike ensured Presteigne a point.

Elsewhere Llanidloes Town Reserves hit back for a point at Brecon Northcote who led through Lee Parkinson only for Adam Nottingham’s leveller to rescue a point for the Daffodils in a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile Radnor Valley hit back after Harry Sharman had given Talgarth Town the lead to prevail 3-1 extra time winners in the second round of the Aspidistra Radnorshire Cup.

Elliot Williams levelled for the Goats before George Davies and Joey Price struck in extra-time.

Meanwhile Llandrindod Wells thumped Knighton Town 13-0 with Mike Collister leading the way with a four goal haul.

Daryl Nicholls added a hat-trick with Ben Jones, Ashley Jones, Declan Beddoes, Robbie Nicholls, Ryan Sims and Kieran McCarley completing the rout.

Elsewhere Llanidloes Town received a walk over after Presteigne conceded their tie.
