ST Idloes ended a 15 year wait to reclaim the county women’s golf shield last weekend.
Gillian Richards, Ilse Dam, Angela Benbow, Katie Hamer-Grew, Jayne Garfield and Cheryl Hamer combined to beat Builth Wells 2-1 in a thrilling contest at Borth and Ynyslas Golf Club.
Both teams won their respective divisions with impressive tallies.
St Idloes beat Llanymynech and Builth Wells overcame Welshpool in the semi-finals held in Llandrindod Wells last month to reach the final.
