RADNOR Valley bid to complete a first round upset when South Wales League One side Goytre visit in the JD Welsh Cup on Saturday.
Valley have enjoyed a superb start to the MMP-NL Mid Wales League One side but manager Paul Morgan expected the visitors to arrive as favourites.
“We are facing the highest grade side we have ever played so it will be a massive test for the young squad,” said Morgan. “It’s our first time in the cup and we gave home advantage so anything can happen.”
Despite being without Callum Matthews and Steve Morgan the Goats go into the clash with a fully fit squad.
“We are looking strong and we will go into the game with a positive approach.”
Morgan also urged supporters to back the club’s Radnorshire Cup defence which begins against Talgarth Town on Sunday.
