MARK Griffiths has been recognised for Caersws’ superb start to the MMP-NL Mid Wales League One season with the manager of the month award.

Griffiths took the helm at the start of the season and has so far revelled in the Recreation Ground hotseat with a bright start to the campaign seeing them top of the table with an unbeaten record.

Meanwhile Llansantffraid Village striker Nathan Prodger has been recognised as the top player of August/September.

Montgomery Town manager Luke Williams claimed the second division managerial accolade.

The Canaries have turned the corner after several difficult campaigns with the Clos Tanymur club currently among the early season second division title contenders.

Meanwhile inform Hay St Marys striker Jack Biggs claimed the player award in recognition of his excellent start to the second division campaign.
