Builth Wells 13 Birchgrove 15
BUILTH Wells suffered late heartache for a second successive week as leaders Birchgrove hit back to steal victory at the Groe.
Having lost in the dying seconds at Resolven in their previous game the Bulls went into the clash keen to make amends.
The Bulls had been in a commanding position with a try from centre Tom Samuel and conversion from Dan Davies whose two penalties gave the hosts a 13-5 lead with 20 minutes remaining.
However the visitors had a sting in their tail and snatched victory courtesy of a try from Rob Scrine with Adam Rowlands kicking the Robins to glory.
Builth laid siege to the visiting line but could not force their way over as the home side tasted the agony of late defeat for a second week in a row.
BUILTH: Luxton, Pugh, Jarman, Evans, Morris, Bowen, Mills, Brown, R Davies, D Davies, Williams, Samuel, G Lewis, R Lewis, Jenkinson. Reps - Price, L Jones, R Jones, A Davies, Oakley, Lloyd.
