Ruthin Town 3 Guilsfield 2
GUILSFIELD’S miserable record against Ruthin Town continued with a first round league cup defeat.
Despite leading through Adam Jenkins’ 17th minute strike the Guils lost their way with Kevin Evans levelling on half-time.
A disastrous five minute spell midway through the second-half saw Llyr Morris and Osian Davies net for the hosts.
Guilsfield reduced the arrears with a penalty from Jack Harris with eight minutes remaining but their miserable start to the season continued.
