TNS made it back-to-back league victories with a comfortable victory at Llanelli on Friday night establishing a three point lead at the top of the table.

Llanelli went into the game on the back of three consecutive defeats were behind inside the opening 10 minutes with Aeron Edwards steering home Jon Routledge’s pass from eight yards.

Chances followed as the Saints continued to pile the pressure on their hosts with Simon Spender, Chris Marriott, Daniel Redmond and Dean Ebbe all going close.

On the stroke of half-time Routledge’s shot from close range was turned into his own net by Llanelli defender Chris Thomas to double the Saints advantage.

The visitors looked like adding to their lead after the break with Ebbe spurning a golden chance when clean through on goal with his chipped effort saved by goalkeeper Oliver Davies.

TNS had a penalty claim rejected on the hour after Adrian Cieslewicz was brought down inside the box.

Llanelli failed to test the Saints defence with goalkeeper Paul Harrison enjoying one of his quietest nights in the TNS goal so far this season as his side eased to a comfortable victory.
