RHAYADER overcame derby rivals Trefyclawdd 27-3 to maintain their bright start to the Swalec Division Three East D season.
Captain Steve Boore opened the try scoring with Danny Davies converting before the Knighton hosts reduced the arrears with a penalty from Seb Barrett.
It was all one way traffic after the break with two tries from Davies, both converted while also kicking a penalty as Rhayader celebrated their first win over Trefy in eight years.
Meanwhile Llandrindod Wells steamrollered Sully 48-7 in division three east central C.
Despite trailing the Budgies stormed back with tries from Sam Davies, Ben Williams, Richard Watkins, Gareth Oakley, Jac Holden, Rob Davies, Jamie Sherwood and Ashley Hammond who completed his tally with two conversions in an emphatic victory.
